Our Akryl Gel is a hybrid product which gives you flexibility of having the time to mold the product to your liking, without it drying on its own like acrylic  as it cures under your UV/LED lamp when you are satisfied with the outcome.

Its thick in viscosity which means that is easier to control than your regular builder gel product making applying enhancements that much more enjoyable. Its is a strong product which wares like acrylic and dries hard, yet very gentle and soft on your nails which promotes a healthier alternative to known enhancements.

USES:

 

    •  Sculpting enhancements on tips / forms

 

    • Extending the length of a broken or chipped nail

 

    • Natural looking overlays on natural nails



APPLICATION:

    • PREP the natural nail like you would any enhancement making sure to remove the shine on the nail plate properly as well as any dust / oils/ build up around the cuticle



SQUEEZE/SLICE/ROLL

    • SQUEEZE the tube to dispense the desired amount of product

 

    • SLICE the product with the spatula end of our universal brush

 

    • ROLL the bead of product on to your nail/ nail form / tips



MOLD: Use the brush end of our Universal Gel Brush to begin molding the product to the desired shape and thickness.

    •  Use Acetone or Rubbing Alcohol as your slip solution

 

    • dampen your brush with the solution and begin patting the product into place  NB: Do not over saturate the brush with slip/ Do not use a dry brush  as it will cause the product to stick to your brush and pull away from the nail plate.

 

    • continue working the product till you are satisfied with the outcome, if your brush begins to stick to the product while patting and pulling the product, this is an indication that you need to dampen your brush again.



CURE:

    •  Cure the nail for 60 seconds under a LED lamp / 2mins under a UV lamp

 

    • Apply the product in even consistencies as to ensure even curing.

 

    • heat spikes occur when clients have unusually thin or damaged nail plates/ the product is applied very thick to the nail plate. The UV/LED lamp is curing the gel product at a rapid speed (Polymerisation) causing the client to feel a burning sensation to the nail plate. Heat spikes usually last approx 10 seconds. To avoid heat spikes, turn your lamp on and allow the client to rest their hands directly in front the lamp (not under) for 10-15 seconds then place their hands under the lamp for the full cure time. This slows down the curing process which in turn eliminates heat spikes from occurring.
